Pet Supply Scout helps shoppers understand product compatibility, feature differences and ongoing costs. Our aim is to make a decision easier to check, not to make it sound more certain than the evidence allows.

Where information comes from

We prioritise manufacturer product pages, manuals and regional documentation. Product pages and guides link to their sources and show the date we checked them. Retailer results are used as places to look for an item, not as proof that every result fits.

What we have and haven’t tested

Our launch guides are research-based. We have not physically tested the equipment, measured noise, assessed long-term reliability or conducted comparative performance trials. We do not publish invented ratings, customer reviews, awards or expert endorsements.

How we make comparisons

We explain the decision criteria: replacement availability, cleaning access, features, connectivity and costs. A recommendation is conditional on those needs. We do not assume that more expensive or connected equipment is better for every household.

Compatibility and uncertainty

Our finder identifies documented product families for the models in our catalog. Regional versions, generations and third-party substitutes may require additional checks. Where sources disagree, we flag the uncertainty instead of filling in a number.

Images and illustrations

Product images show real branded products. Packaging, colours and pack sizes can vary by country and listing; check the option you choose before purchasing. Image source records are retained internally, and manufacturer specifications remain available in product information. Pet portraits used for the Scout Pack represent our fictional mascots; submitted community pets are reviewed before publication. Images are not evidence of our own product testing.
